March 8th & 9thTHE MEN’S CONFERENCE:” Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church in the Grand Rapids area is hosting a men’s conference titled “The Godly Man.” The first speech on Thursday evening will be “The Godly Man: Living Soberly and Righteously in this Present World.” based on Titus 2: 11-14 by Rev A Spriensma. The second speech at the men’s conference is entitled “The Godly Man: Looking for the Glorious Appearing of our Savior”, based on Titus 2:11-14 by Rev. Haak. We will also have 6 interesting sectionals from which you can choose to attend following the speech. Pre registration is required. Click here for registration forms. July 28, 2012 – August 4, 2012 - 2012 BRITISH REFORMED FELLOWSHIP FAMILY CONFERENCE Join fellow believers from the UK and around the world at the 2012 British Reformed Fellowship Family Conference to be held on Saturday, July 28, to Saturday, August 4, in Northern Ireland. Profs. Engelsma and Hanko will be giving lectures under the theme “Ye Shall Be My Witnesses,” along with a special lecture by Rev. Martyn McGeown on mission work. August 13-17, 2012 -Attention Young People:  plan to attend (the Lord willing) the 2012 Annual Young Peoples Convention titled “Led by the Shepard.” hosted by Hope PRC Walker, MI. About The PRCA

The Protestant Reformed Churches in America are a denomination of 27 churches and almost 6000 members in the United States and Canada. Founded as a separate denomination of Reformed churches in 1924, the PRC stand in the tradition of the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. Their origin as a denomination was the doctrinal controversy over “common grace” within the Christian Reformed Church in the early 1920s, occasioned by that church’s adoption of the doctrine of common grace as official church dogma. The result of the controversy was that several ministers with their congregations were put out of the Christian Reformed Church. These men then established the Protestant Reformed Churches (PRC).
